UCSB Demostration Library
An easy to use pre-made demonstration library

The use of demonstrations is a great way of engaging students during lecture. Demonstrations turn abstract ideas into applicable concepts that students can visualize and easily understand. When selecting demonstrations, it is important to find ones that help the students have a deeper understanding of the concepts being taught. The demonstration library provides many recommended demonstrations to go along with each chapter in Zumdahl’s Chemical Principles general chemistry text. Each demonstration is self-contained and is equipped with instructions and all necessary items to perform the demo.

Everyone is welcome to use the demonstration in the library. The demonstration library is housed in PSBN 2649. Please be sure to sign-out the demonstration you are using on the sign-out sheet. Also, please return the demonstrations to the black cart in the demonstration room after use.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or have a demo that you would like in the library, feel free to .
